Correspondence pertaining to two of the society's annual New York meetings held at the American Museum of Natural History in December, 1916 and between December 27, 1928 and January 2, 1929. Papers refer to planning the meeting including operational details, with emphasis on the geological and mineralogical sections. Many letters for both meetings were written by Henry Fairfield Osborn. Some letters concern contributions made to the Hospitality Fund and the Honorary Reception Committee.
